Maria Mormile

Founder,  Director and Producer of the (Melbourne) Australian Body Art Awards & Face/Body painting Convention.  Conventions have been held in Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane & the Gold Coast.

Maria started her Face/Body painting journey in 2006 and after hundreds of hours of practice, she soon discovered her passion for this unique and extraordinary art form. So driven by it, Maria traveled the world in order to compete and develop her skills as a Face and Body Artist. It wasn't long before Maria realised that Australia needed its very own National Competition and convention.

The ABAA and conventions were created to continue to provide a learning and sharing environment for people already in the industry. The events have helped to set industry standards and a growing awareness of this art form.  Australian Face & Body Artists are now revered to be amongst the best in the world.

The 1st ABAA in 2010.
