Wendy came into face painting over 20 years ago when it was suggested as being a good idea to ‘have a crack at’ while home with young children.

Like many artists starting this way, it was the beginning of a love for this addictive art form which has been going strong ever since.

Working through a long bucket list of painting oriented goals has been challenging but rewarding; the scope within face and body painting for doing really interesting projects and events has been fabulous.

Body painting young breast cancer survivors for the 2019 ‘So Brave’ calendar (the third after 2017 & 2018) has just begun in Feb 2018.   www.sobrave.com.au

Painting for this very special project as lead artist and designer has been a beautiful experience.
Definitely the most interesting and epic undertaking to date and a culmination of everything paint-related done previously made it possible to tackle this.

Competing at the World Bodypainting Festival in Austria in 2017 for the second time was also a daunting but great thing to do.
Rankings are currently 5th in face painting, 19th in brush and sponge bodypainting – acknowledgement and sincere thanks to the whole Fantaustria team, can’t do that one alone!
Wendy’s painting style is bold, colourful, fun, imperfectly organic. Life is short, paint loud!
