Rachael Bonifacio 

 

 

Rachael is a fully qualified and award winning face & body artist and freelance makeup artist. She studied Fashion Merchandising at RMIT over 20 years ago and worked in the wholesale fashion and textile industry for a several years, before moving across to the makeup industry. Starting out with Myer where she stayed for nearly 6 years, Rachael has had extensive training with Clinque, Estee Lauder, Helena Rubenstein and Kryolan and courses in retail makeup, bases, eyes and airbrushing as well as furthering her knowledge over the last 7 years by attending regular face painting and makeup workshops with Australian and International instructors. 
 

In 2011 Rachael commenced her face painting business to compliment her makeup, and now enjoys a successful mix of face painting, UV body art, bridal and event makeup, production & editorial makeup and airbrush and temp tattoos. She hopes to explore her love of special FX and work more within theatre and production.

In 2014 Rachael was part of the hair and makeup team for the Kylie Minogue music clip "I Was Gonna Cancel" recorded at Docklands studio Melbourne. More recently, she was part of the special FX makeup team for the Warner Bros HBO series the Leftovers filmed in Melbourne in 2016 and worked both at Docklands Studio Melbourne and on location in Williamstown Victoria. She participates in annual production and photo shoots for Stage School Australia, private school productions as well as corporate events working out of the Regent and Forum Theatres.
