Pre Convention Class - Monday 25th March - 10.00am to 5.00pm
One-Stroke Heroes
In this class, I will guide you in painting some of my most popular full-face and cheek/arm hero designs. You will learn how to use a few key techniques that are easily adaptable for a wide range of your favorite characters. Learn how to use one-strokes to contour effectively and quickly while keeping your hands clean. Then take the designs to the next level with optional details that are sure to impress. This will be a HANDS-ON workshop. Please do not be shy and come prepared to paint regardless of your experience or level of painting. I am here to help! What to bring: - several gradient (anything with a dark end and light end) one-stroke cakes (I recommend my Hero Power palette by Global and/or any cakes with shades of blue, shades of red, shades of green, shades of yellow, black to white or silver) - black, white, and silver face paint for line work - 3/4 inch flat brushes for one-strokes - round brushes for line work - practice sheets and/or a practice head - sketchbook and/or notebook for note taking - neon orange and neon yellow face paint (optional) - a few stencils for texture (optional) - black starblends or other powders (optional) - any other go-to supplies (spray bottle, sponges, glitter, favorite solid colors, water cup, etc)
Post Convention Class - Thursday 28th March - 10.00am to 5.00pm

Wild Cats
Anyone can do some quick whiskers, but learn these special techniques to make your cats POP and wow everyone. Each different wild cat will include: - understanding each child's character through their actions and face shapes. It will help you determine what kind of cat you will create. Cat design can be funny, cute, beautiful, furious, scary, etc. You must figure out which one to paint for each child. - different shapes and colors of eyes, noses and ears, lips designs: You will understand how to create different shapes and colors to create the characters. - sponge use: You will learn how to blend colors with a sponge to quicken your design and at a same time make it look like a professional airbrush. You will also learn how and where to dab the sponge. - artistic lines: You will learn some brush stroke techniques of simple artistic lines for unique designs each time. - high light and glitter effect: Learn efficiency ways of high lights and glitter effects - create your own and develop them in your own style.

Description: It IS possible to do amazing designs quickly. Let me show you how I have mastered using just one sponge and one brush to complete a design under pressure of long line-ups. Each different fast design will include: - understanding each child's character through their actions and face shapes. It will help you determine what lines and colors you will use. - different shapes and colors of eyes, noses and ears, lips designs: You will understand how to create different shapes and colors to create the simple designs. - sponge use: You will learn how to blend colors with a sponge to quicken your design and at a same time make it look like a professional airbrush. You will also learn how and where to dab the sponge. - artistic lines: You will learn some brush stroke techniques of simple artistic lines for unique designs each time. - high light and glitter effect: Learn efficiency ways of high lights and glitter effects - create your own and develop them in your own style.

Celebrity Character Portraits
I'll show you how I do portrait make-up. We will work in light and shadow technology. You will see how, with the help of darkening and highlighting certain parts of the face, create the right volumes. I'll show you how to create soft shadows. How to change facial features. I will teach you how to properly photograph a model with a portrait make-up. I'll tell you about the materials, and the technique of working with them.
Post Convention Class - Thursday 28th March - 10.00am to 5.00pm
Create an image of Gollum!
In this class, I'm going to tell you how to turn any handsome man into a filthy Gollum. - how to change the proportions of the face, for similarity with the character. - how to choose the right tone. - how to enlarge your eyes and make them look crazy. - how to use face painting to make Gollum's mouth with a few teeth. - how to put hair on your head without a wig and a Fox. - little tricks with the ears.

Princess magic
From flowers to crowns, butterfly rainbows and more, everything a girl could ask for! In this class you will learn about how to create the perfect girl designs, including hands-on bling making (all materials included); learn about how to add extra wow factors using hand made blings! You will learn about placements and flow, and color combinations, from simple 3minutes on the job designs to the more elaborated versions.
