Class 1: Sugar skulls with Prosthetics
Design your own sugar skull creating a good composition with a variety of small prosthetics. Learn the basic application of paint, use of stencils, applying prosthetics and creating a strong design all together.
Class 2: BodyFX GelFX
Learn how to use this new material and technique to create very realistic wounds. Easy to use and to reproduce loads of wounds for an quick and easy and cheap application. For anyone who would like to have some new techniques for SpecialFX under their belt.

Bella Volen is a professional visual artist and has a masters degree in painting. Her focus is mainly in canvas painting, body painting, but she does also murals, performance, installations, stage design, stage costumes and book illustrations.
Bella has won many international body painting and fine art awards, was a judge at several art competitions, had exhibitions in Europe, China and South America and works world wide as an artist and art instructor. She teaches fine art, different kinds of body painting, body art history, composition and colour theory.
Coming from an established arts family in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, Bella was raised among painters, sculptors, poets and dancers.
Her natural talent was supported with thirteen years of formal study in some of the most prestigious art institutes including the fine arts secondary school and the Academy of Fine Arts in Sofia, followed by six and half years painting study in Vienna. At the moment Bella works on her doctorate of philosophy in art. Her painting studio is placed in the heart of Vienna in the Museum of Fantastic Realism.
In 2009 Bella came up with an idea and with the help of the balloon designer and actor Guido Verhoef this idea became a new art form and direction : Paintloon
In Dallas, march 2011, Craig Tracy, Filippo Ioco and Bella Volen founded I-FAB: International Fine Art Bodypainting Association. In 2011 Bella presented the first Fine Art Body Painting Award at the World Body Painting Festival.
Since 2010 Bella and a few of her art partners work on big projects in a new art group called: CREACHIEFS

Class 1 - Exotic Henna designs with Body Paint
Learn how to create the fabulous look of Mehndi Henna designs with black and brown body paint!! Henna is a beautiful traditional art form practiced and adorned worlwide. Learn how to build a pattern from the inside out and how to keep building upon your original design.
I will teach commonly used patterns for hands and feet and designs to createin just minutes. These designs are sooo beautiful and can beembellished with different colors, glitter, liquid bling and jewels and made as simple or detailed as desired. If you are not familiar toworking with Henna this is a wonderful alternative to offer clients at any event. The paint dries much faster than henna paste and wont leave a stain for people who want only a temporary piece of art!
You will learn designs and patterns for hands, arms, feet, shoulders, bellies and several cute designs for children. once you get the techniques and patterns down, it is so easy to freestyle and create amazing designs for parties, fundraisers and even bridal events or baby showers. Greatfor photoshoots and Belly Art as well. White Henna designs are exquisite. This class will add yet another dimension to your face and body art business and a great beginning to working with Henna paste. Class 1 - Monster class:
Always wanted to go to the dark side? Learn how to contour and hollow out the face, get the evil eye and learn the basics of any full face monster. Think Frankenstein, skulls & vampires. Quick ways to do teeth and scars. This face can be used for so much. Bring your kit and be ready to paint either yourself or your own practise head.
Class 2 - Boys Masks:
Learn how to frame the face, understand facial structure and how to make the mask sit on the face. This lesson will be a hands on approach to a basic mask that you can add or subtract elements that will please any boy. Bring your kit and practice head and get ready to learn Superman, batman and Ben 10. I will also go over fire and give pointers on your brush and sponge control. Bring a small flat square brush to do the dry brush blending technique.
Class 3 - Animals:
This class is NOT about Tigers and Butterflies.
Learn full face and small designs of animals that can be tricky. I will also break down animals into shapes so that they dont become so daunting and look cute and animated. This class will be mainly demonstration HOWEVER I will give time at the end to have you paint your favourite.
